Along with our 3rd year film, we all decided to take on extra little side project of our own. I wanted to look at editing more, and make projects that would improve my skills. I decided to take a film that had already been made and cut it up to make my own trailer for it. Here is the 2004 film 'The Day After Tomorrow' I hope I have done it justice.

Dream Sequence

Here is Frankie falling into his perfect dream. A world full of pillows. I have changed the colours in the dream showing the two contrasting worlds that our character faces. The warm colours covey a safe environment that Frankie enjoys and is familiar with, compared to the harsh blues and greys which represent the real world.

We're in a magazine!!!

We made it into a magazine! But not any magazine, we managed to get into IMAGINE magazine one of the top animation magazines in the industry. Very exciting!

Here are a few of my favorite shots so far. I think the bluey/grey tone of the film really works. I'm happy with them.

Compositing in frustrating...

I have been getting very frustrated with myself for not being able to composit well. After the idea to change the colour to more greys, blues an blacks I am finding it difficult and stressful. I managed to get really frustrated that I created a thunder storm within the scene.
